Proshield Leather is our hydrophobic, oleophobic and stain resistant invisible coating for Leather surfaces.
'Leather' allows liquids, oils and stains to be repelled in an unbelievable fashion.
'Leather' is a unique formula - it has zero volatile solvents, no dangerous propellants, no smells and is water based. Unlike the traditional aerosol variants, 'Leather' is non flammable and is packed in recyclable plastic bottles which are totally safe to store and transport.
The leather should be thoroughly cleaned prior to application. Dirt and soils on the surface will prevent adherence of the coating and can drastically effect performance. If you are using any cleaners/ detergents to clean the surface, makes sure all residue has been thoroughly wiped off and allowed to dry as the remaining residue can prevent the coating from adhering.
'Leather' is super easy to apply:
1. Use about 3 - 4 full sprays of 'Leather' per 50 cm x 50cm square.
2. Using the Suede towel evenly spread the liquid over the leather surface in a cross hatch motion. The liquid should be left to sit on the surface for 5 minutes.
3. If there is any left over residue once the coating has dried use the Multi towel to remove and dry.
'Leather' can provide up to 1 year of protection depending on the level of wear being introduced to the surface.
