Repel allows liquids, oils and stains to be repelled in an unbelievable fashion.
Repel is a unique formula - it has zero volatile solvents, no dangerous propellants, no smells and is water based! Unlike aerosol products, Repel is non flammable and is packed recyclable plastic bottles which are totally safe to store and transport.
Repel can be used on a variety of fabric substrates. Different materials will display slightly varying effects. Repel does not effect the breathability, look, feel or performance of fabrics.
Before application fabrics should be thoroughly cleaned and dried to ensure proper adhesion and performance of coating.
Repel is super easy to apply:
1. Evenly spray Repel over entire fabric surface, making sure to achieve thorough coverage. The first coat should be on the heavier side (fabric should be damp to touch). Allow first coat to dry for 30 minutes (it will still be damp at this point).
2. Evenly spray second coat, this should be done lightly and the goal here is to cover any gaps from the first coat.
3. Allow the fabric to cure over night (approximately 12 hours). Longer curing times produce better results.
4. Your fabric is now protected!
As an example - most sofas/ couches will be protected for 6 - 12 months. Lower traffic areas can be protected for up to 2 years. Top up applications can be done with very light coats.
